this is sickning! ive never felt so unerved after hearing of this, sorry for anyones loss. everyone hear obamas speach last night? "i didnt do much for gun control last term but you can bet i will now" thing are gonna get crazy. id be more concerned with someone trying to buy body armor than someone purchasing a weapon. gun sales today are going to skyrocket, mark my words. we live in a sick world people. if a few of thoes teachers had a concealed weapon and were properly trained shit like this wouldnt have to end so badly. its a sad day when you have to think twice about sending your elementary kids to school for fear of thiere safety. i have a feeling with all this end of the world talk going on and with all of those wack jobs that actualy believe it that thing between now and the 21st are going to be insane. good luck and god bless the USofA!

I don't know what the hell the answer is, if there even is one at all.. But I know it isn't more gun control. I'm not going to sit here and say that a properly trained teacher carrying a pistol would have stopped this, but I could make a good bet that some more peoples babies would have gone home with them yesterday, if someone else was carrying.

What a horrible deal.

The events in CT were horrible, I can't even imagine what the parents are going through. That being said, every pro gun control law maker will use this horrible event to push there gun controll agenda. The NRA has preserved many of our second ammendment rights that would have surely be taken away by the anti gun crowd. The NRA needs our support now more than ever due to the recent events.
If you are not an NRA member....you should be, if you know someone that isn't.....get them to join.

my glock 27 .40 cal is on my person at all times. you never know. had my garage broke into a few weeks ago and alot of my euro mount kits and some work tools were taken while i was on an elk hunt. i have a system on the house and on every window, but my back door into garage doesnt have one, figured my dog was good enough. dog was with me. these people arent dumb. fools for sure but not dumb. thank God my fam was out of town at the time. i dont want to be no hero but id feel pretty bad if i was in a situation to help out and was ill prepared to do so. spent most the day yesterday with my 6 year old knocking pop cans over with an air soft rifle. i want him to know fire arm safety.

There needs to be some type of deterent at a school to prevent this. I would think that an air marshall type of teacher, who wants and is willing to carry would benefit schools. Much like some pilots who I believe can carry, if the are trained, a few teachers or administartors might possibly give some loony tune a reason to not consider a school. Although they most all commit suicide at the end so maybe it wouldn't matter to them how they went?

Perhaps a trained, armed security officer in all schools. There will a gun grab by the antis, you can bet on that. This is just what they've been waiting for, They want our AR's and any magazine that holds over 10 rounds. I really hadn't planned on buying an AR, but when I saw the Feinsteins and the Schumers coming out of the woodwork the day after it happened, I went out and bought a DPMS in .308. and tried to buy several 20 round magazines....they were all sold the day of the shooting. And the AR's were selling
like hotcakes!
