Crispi Problems

Wanting to get some advice on the problem I'm having. I bought a pair of the Crispi Idaho boots this summer to hunt with this fall. After using them, I found out they leak horrible and I want to send them back for warranty, but I can't get a hold of anyone.

I emailed Miles Munger the first of November about sending the boots back and never got a reply and I have been calling and leaving messages ever since with no luck.

What can I do?

Thanks,

File a complaint with the better business bureau. That usually gets a business's attention.

I ordered a pair of boots from them last year and he double charged me. I had to dispute one of them to get it taken care of. He would never get back to me either

Buckbull, thanks for the idea, I'll have to do that if I don't hear from them shortly.

Hvfd, did he finally get back to you or what did you do?

It just irritates me because he was on the ball about answering my questions when I was looking to buy the boot, but now that I'm having trouble he won't talk to me. That is just bad customer service in my opinion.

Thanks,

I finally found the email address to the main Crispi office and sent them a message. If I don't hear back from them shortly I'll file a complaint with the BBB.

It still gets under my skin every time I think about it.

Got an email from the main Crispi office today, I've posted it here so you can read it:

"First of all I would like to thank you for writing.

I need to inform you that Mr. Munger is our former distributor and his business has no link with the Italian company (despite he is using our brand name).

I have forwarded your @mail to him hoping into a reaction (if you have bought the boot from him he should take care of the warranty).

In any case, can you send me model / size and possibly pictures of the problem?

I also have to inform you that our offices are going to be closed for season’s Holiday from tomorrow to January the 6th included.

Hope that Mr. Munger will help you in solving your problems, otherwise we’ll take care of it once we re-open.

I use this opportunity to send you my best wishes of Happy Holidays!

With Best Regards

Simone Daverio
International Sales Manager"

You should include the where purchased information in your letter to Crispi.
Sawfish, they know I didn't purchase them from Miles, they suggested getting a hold of the store and having them send them back, which is what I'm doing now. We'll see how this turns out.
