Hey guys I just recently moved to Bozeman and was curious if I could possibly get a little information/help? I am looking for some decent areas to go hunt some coyotes. I am from Florida and usually hunted them over carcasses but am looking to call some in here. I do not need any special areas or anything but if anyone knows which direction has a problem I would happily travel. I was also curious if anyone knows if we are allowed to hunt coyotes on BMA's since shoulder season has ended? I have hunted the big timber area quite a bit but never heard or saw anything. I was thinking about driving out that way but figured I would drop a line in here first. Thank you.

Ive hunted yotes a few times in Montana, all we ever did was set up on a fence line over looking some thick creek beds. We called for 30 min and if nothing came in we moved on to the next place. You can pretty much make a whole day of it, we called in several. Location wise we were north of Terry MT.

I've had them run through camp while in Montana, but I'm usually not within easy walking distance of the truck...
