Hi All - I will be doing a DIY archery hunt third week of September this year with a cow/calf tag in unit 37. I've been to WY the last three years for deer and antelope, but this will be my first elk hunt. I've done a lot of map/google earth/onx research, and have spoken with the biologist for the area.
Wanted to reach out to this group to see if there's any other info that could help me. Is there any other sources I should be investigating for research? Are there landowners that may give access for cow/calf tags? Any insight is appreciated! Good luck to everyone this Fall.
