Well...this was supposed to be a poll. But for some reason it didn't turn out that way...and it appears to be past the point of no return...lol

A-Combo Hunt
B-No Combo Hunt

I chose A for this season because its a long way for me to drive and I got some insight that it may be worth it in that unit. My hunt will not be a long hunt but at least I have a tag in my pocket for both species.

I did a deer/elk/pronghorn combo in 2014. Believe it or not, the only tag I didn't fill was the pronghorn tag. I just ran out of time, otherwise would have filled all 3.

If you do have plenty of time to dedicate to the hunt, I think combos are definitely doable. You also have to go into it accepting the reality that you may not fill every tag. But I've also done hunts where I killed in the first day, and would have liked another tag to go hunt.

Unit and area dependent it is very doable. Time is always the great equalizer on this one.
