Im heading into the high country in these units for early archery mule deer. Has anyone hunted these units with any luck? Any suggestions for me? Im looking at hunting in the northern part of the unit around Mt. Rhoda. Lots of alpine basins around that area but there also seems to be alot of trails in that area also. I was hoping to skip out on all the hikers in the San Juans. I was also looking at hunting in the southern part of the unit below Mt. Eulos and above Missionary ridge area. Seems like theres less trails and people in that area. Anyone been through these areas with some advice? thanks.
