I am thinking of applying for Colorado unit 75,751 season 2 for mule deer. I have a friend that hunted 77 for elk which is right next to 75, but he never went in to 75. He said 77 had some good bucks, but I do not have enough points to draw. Do you have any information on 75,751? Thanks anything would be helpful.

We hunted 75/751 last year on the 2nd season. We scouted a couple of times during the summer and saw some a few bucks up high. We arrived a couple of days before the opener, and went to the areas where we had seen the bucks, and much to our dismay, they had all migrated out, even with little to no snow. We did manage to pull one bear out of the area. The access is pretty limited to the middle country, and the only place we found bucks during our hunt was low and all on private land. 2 tags, both unfilled.. Not trying to burst your bubble, just letting you know how we did. If you do decide to put in for the area, I hope you have better luck than we did. The middle country is beautiful to say the least, and if you have horses you might be able to get in to where you need to be.
