Ya if have the cash there are many ways to do this. Oftentimes it is a matter of contacting landowners. The DOW might be able to help you with some to try. However, you will often have to pay a hefty price and many of these tags go to outfitters who lease their ground. Good luck!

If people didn't buy these tags then the DOW would quit giving so many of them out and they would go into the drawing pool for regular folks to draw. These tags are another way for the wealthy to gain access to units the average hunter has to wait years to draw. Game and Fish agencies wonder why people are becoming turned off by the whole hunting system! The game is supposed to belong to the states yet land owners can sell these and turn a profit.

People will buy them bc with the point creeps, the points are worth more than the vouchers... But you don't have to be wealthy, just need to pick a year and start saving up a little at a time.

These landowner vouchers are a very interesting topic. I agree with some being given out. It is a good additional source of income for many ranchers and large landowners who are struggling to make it in agriculture. However, there comes a time when enough is enough and allowing additional either sex or antlered tags gets a little ridiculous. That is why several years ago I stood with many of the hunters in the state of CO against additional percentages of the general quota going as landowner permits (under the carpet deal gone bad when an outdoor writer caught wind)
