Colorado elk pack in service

We are planning on going elk hunting in Colorado the fall 2017 and have all of our gear but need someone to pack it in and back out on horse back. Any info for help us complete our plans.

Well the first thing you need to do is call an outfitter in that area and tell them where you want to get Packed into. Then they should be able to tell you who is permitted in that area of the unit

^^^ this you can lookup all elk outfitters in those units and start calling

As an outfitter just trying to help you out, you can't have anybody just pack you into a spot for any trade or money, you have to have a permitted outfitter do it for you if I knew the area better id recommend someone but the outfitters in the area should be able to tell you who is permitted where you'd like to go.

For unit 81 Colorado try Conejos Outfitters. Their phone number use to be 719-376-6040. Can't help with 78

Just get on the CO list and call them all. You can also rent animals and lead them in or ride if your experience level can handle it.
