Colorado Elk, GMU 4

hello, looking to hunt elk in Colorado, GMU 4. Can anyone provide any details. I do understand that it does get a lot of hunters....but any other help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm heading to GMU 4 the second week of September. It's draw only for bow season so hopefully it should be less crowded than the other seasons. Anyone know of some good trailheads to venture in from?
