Things are looking up. Anyway to tell if its 1st or 2nd choice? The numbers in the backdoor don't exactly jive with my unit #'s.
2011 - ### Elk APP and 2011 - ### Elk are different. The first ### is similar to my first choice but then I look at the deer 2011 - ### Deer APP and there's no correlation to the unit # I applied. Confused but excited that I'll be headed to CO for a hunt this fall. Thoughts on the #'s?

So lets make this simple. I put in for deer in CO, what will it read if I drew my deer tag, or have they drawn yet? Sorry I am a little slow.

Deer is not up yet. Just say you put in for unit ###. If you drew it should say 2011 - 5## ELK APP. If you did NOT draw it should say
2011 - 4## ELK APP. The # doesnt have to coinside with your unit. 5 = good 4= bad

Hmmm...

My "back door" results have a listing 2011 4## Non Res Deer App., and nothing else. Does this mean deer is up and I didn't draw? Sounds like it.

Colorado has now added current preference points. If your preference points are zeroed out means you drew your first choice. I have 10 for antelope which is one more than I had meaning I did not draw.

As of now the actual results are posted for deer and elk, only thing left to be put in stone is speed goat.

Also, once you see that backdoor shows you have drawn, you can call the DOW and they can tell you what you drew. (Oh man DOW isn't going to like me telling everyone they can clog up the phone lines hahaha)
