My points haven't updated yet but my girlfriends and sister's did. Neither of them drew a deer tag. I don't think the back door for elk is open yet. They will draw antelope before elk so the back door for elk won't be until the middle to the end of the week.

I drew 62 second season, now have to wait to see if i drew a second choice cow tag.

Congrats packer. My mothers boyfriend has 21 elk points and he's hoping to burn them this year. I keep checking here to see when the back door opens for elk to let him know. He never knew of that trick.

Yes early rifle. But unfortunately I started a new job in November and I don't think I will be able to get a scouting trip in. So any tips on
This area would be great. Even an X on a map would be great LOL.

My brother and I drew our first choice muzzle loader unit 18, 28, 37, and 371. I can't wait to start scouting. Scouting bucks at timberline all summer is almost as exciting as hunting them in September. Good luck to everyone and enjoy the greatest way to spend your time off.
