Hey guys i know I'm new here and haven't earned my street cred yet. However I wanted to pick your brains. My family has a vacation house in Fraser. I am planning on a hunt up there the first week of Archery Elk. Now i have been coming up to the area for the past 4 years. I dont know all of the area as good as the locals however i am very familiar with stillwater pass and lost lake area. My question is i know the Elk should be up high this time of year. And i know alot of good information will just come from me scouting as well. Ive seen alot of moose and mule deer in those specific areas but not elk. What would you guys suggest a good approach should be. I plan on packing out so im not scared to get deep in the woods. Any help would be much appreciated. I know its 9 months away but im already anxious.
