I thought of putting in for the same tag but desided to hole off one more year a few of th cpw officers i know have said that the numbers are coming back up and there are some big antelope up there it is still colorados number one boone and crocket county i think you will do just fine this year and should draw it with 5 pp. I am curious to see how the hunting presure changes with the muzzle loader season being one week before the rifle season. Should be good thow. Good luck.

you should draw with 4 pp i Know a few people that did last year. 4 and 5 are just as good as 3 in my opinion you just dont have the big tracks of blm in 4-5 my family has hunted there for years and shot some great buck in there.

You probably won't find any antelope in the NF of unit 4. The west side of the unit is the lowest part where the antelope live. The east side of the unit is all higher elevation oak brush, aspen, spruce and pine country. The further south you get and closer to Craig the more private property you have to deal with. A person might find antelope crossing over from unit 3. If I had the tag I would spend most of my time looking in the big tracts of BLM and state ground in the northwest part of the unit. Hopefully that helps.
