looking at a 2021 trip to walden .friends hunted there for years.i have seen there elk mounts. they are 3 and 4 point bulls meybe 3 or 4 year olds.are there any of you that hunt near that town near the route forest area and what size racks are you shooting.

Walden itself is a flat plain surrounded by BLM land. If you're hunting elk there are you thinking late season? They won't be "down" yet during archery or rifle 1.

Otherwise, tell us which GMU you're thinking. I hunted Rahwah once, unit 7 (just East of Walden) and it was beautiful but challenging. That year was hot and dry very late into the seasons and the elk just didn't want to come down. Once nice thing is it's not quite the "sea of orange" other areas are... but access is challenging and you have to be prepared to really work your way in...

If people are mounting those elk that is the top tier for the area. OTC isn't known for age class
