Just finishing up the final preparations for muzzleloader season less than 6 days away. I have my load 99% worked up and all the essential gear ready. I just need to pack my pack and get the food bag together. The timing of the newest EBJ issue on backcountry hunting was perfect. Im going out for 5 days solo. If I dont score I have to race back and take a Biology test and a Calculus III test, then race back into the woods for the last three days of the season. I really hope I score sooner, then I might score better on paper! I am bringing my notes and formula sheet to study in the tent, but I will probably be studying the map more LOL!

Weather is sure better than last year. I hunted 71 last year during mL season and is was hot as hell. Cooled down quite a bit the last few days. Good luck....hunting and tests!

Thanks Colorado Cowboy! Im from your neck of the woods. I just moved over to the east slope to get my degree. I sure miss the southwest.
