I have been looking at their Ridgeline model, but do not have any experience with Christensen. Anyone have any feedback on their rifles ?

I read something a few weeks ago that a guy has an issue with one of their safety's or triggers. Other than that I have read nothing but good things about them.

I do think they are severely overpriced for what they are though...JMHO

I have a Christensen Classic in 30 Nosler and have been very happy with it - I shoot it regularly out to 1200 yards and it’s a half MOA rifle with my hand loads. My buddy bought the Traverse in 28 Nosler and its a tack driver as well.

I have a guy who does all of my custom loads. All he does is shoot guns for a living. Fine tuning accuracy for a local gunsmith. He said hands down, the most inconsistent rifle out there is the Christensen. They are a beautiful gun and I too considered one but after a couple years of really paying attention to higher end guns (subjective statement), I have found this to be true. In that price range, I think the best combo a guy could have is a Tikka and swap over to a Proof Sendero Lite barrel. My thoughts....

I have one, chambered in 300wm. It's fine. Mine shoots really well, best group was right at at .5moa, but I do know they have some quality control issues, lots of guys complaining about them on various forums, facebook, etc. So ,aybe I just got lucky with one of the good ones.
It's a BIG gun though, not very heavy, but it is big, I didn't realize how big until I got it home, and set it next to my other rifles, so I'd be wary of that, if you're a guy that likes a smaller rifle. Mine is actually fairly pleasant to shoot, with the muzzle brake on, and kicks significantly less than my unbraked .270s.
I probably won't sell it, since it does shoot so well, but it's not my favorite gun in the safe.
From a value stand point, there's a few other guns right in it's price range, I dont know if they're better or worse, but the next level up seems to be a fully custom gun, for significantly more

I’ve heard the same as above, inconsistency
I’ve heard good things about Fierce rifles. The owner used to be at Christiansen
I would take a hard look at Savage with the proof research barrel. I have one in 28 Nosler. I’m very happy with it and the cost is extremely less.

That picture of the elk in the scope might be one of my all time favorite pictures. That is awesome:)
For some reason I cannot take any pictures through my rifle scope.
LOVE it 😊

Save your money and go custom, better service quality, better guns, customized to your preferences, we build some damn fine guns for not much more over a CA. With zero issues

I purchased Christensen's Ridgeline in 7mm 2 years ago. Once broke in and I talked to the folks at Christensen I went with Nosler Accubonds LR and have not been disappointed. I don't consider myself a great shoot by any means but I can confidently shoot a quarter at 100 yards and routinely have holes overlapping one another. Love it!

In the for what it's worth column, I was stuck in Rapid City, SD with a blown transmission, and on one of my walk-abouts found that the Sheels store had quite a few CA rifles in various configurations in stock.

I did end up buying one in 300 Win Mag. Have only had the chance to take it to the range once, but am very impressed with it so far.
