Hunted north-central Wyoming in October of 2015 with my son and a friend. We bought left-over tags and camped in tents, very inexpensive trip. Had a blast with antelope and prairie dogs. Saw one other hunter in 5 days.

Hey Mike, nice to hear from you, how's retirement treating you, haven't burned any cabins down lately I hope. Still slaving away for uncle Obama. Should have a bear tag for fall for my son,that gives me one more reason to spend time at the cabin. Do you get down south anymore?
Troybackman, we didn't draw 21 as a second choice last year, but we hunted very close by, as in, very close by.

Retirement is "GREAT" although up coming carpal tunnel surgery next week. 150 day's a year of fishing with a hard hook set is tough on the wrist! Good memory on that cabin burn down in BC, that was way back in 1998. Sure glad I had good homeowners insurance that covered the gear loss. Let me know if your son pulls that bear tag, I use a special bait that is addictive, you'll pull them out of the U.P. With 6 grandchildren and one more on the way my wife drags me down to Appleton more then I care for. If more then a day we both take our own vehicles. Going to burn max elk points in WY this year with my buddy, not getting any younger!
