Who knows the story of the moose up by Carlin ,NV?

These pictures were taken N of Carlin near the turn off that heads N to Newmont Gold Mines Leeville project and Barrick Goldstrike. I was driving to work around 8:00 last Wednesday (10/02) when I saw this boy come up out of the small drainage. I couldn't stop nor have a quality camera, so I called up a buddy and told him where it was at. 20 minutes or so later, my buddy was within 30 yards snapping pictures.

I took these pictures at Charleston Reservoir in Elko County last year in September.

Thats awesome guys! Id love to see that moose! Maybe Nv will have moose eventually?

Another buddy was joking around, saying NDOW will have a bull moose depredation hunt in 6 now!!! LOL

Give em a couple years and they will be managed just like the bears I Imagine.
