Camping

Hey Guys and Gals, Were going to be hunting around the Barnum area this year and was curious if I could get any camping spot tips. We are taking a small camper and I don't want to spend all my time driving around trying to find a spot. Thanks

Beware of the camping opportunities on the Ed O Taylor, the roads getting up there are unpassable with a towed camper.

Thanks mnhunter. I would like to camp north of there by the area we are hunting but there is only two main roads going around it an I hate to camp right along a busy road.

I assume you are hunting Region Y? If so, I cannot think of a good place for a camper on public land. But there is the Hole in the Wall campground (its a private one between Kaycee and Barnum I think). I do not have a number or exact location, but its before you get to Ed O Taylor I do know.
