Is on a great sale at Cabelas this weekend. Doorbuster sale from 8am to 1pm. $100 off. It is still $269.99

I am thinking about getting one. For me it is still hard to justify spending that much on a cooler. Has anybody got one of these. Id like to know if they really keep ice as claimed. Is it worth the price?

I have never owned one but I have looked at them and they look like a really nice cooler. Probably as close to a Yeti as your going to find and at $100 off I would go for it! I have herd if you get them cold first and then put ice they will hold ice alot longer then putting ice in when they are warm.

A couple of my friends have yeti coolers. They are really nice, but if you open them to get drinks out....you might as well have a normal cooler.

I have been looking at the various high dollar, high performance coolers for a few years. I have decided on a Pelican cooler based on Pelican's lifetime no questions asked guarantee. I have a number of Pelican's lights that I use for diving. If you drop one on the concrete, or it gets crushed by Jaws, Pelican will replace it promptly. Cannot ask for better than that.
