Took a trip up north in the Golden State to hunt with a few buds that know how to get it done with turkeys. I ended up arrowing this 5 year old gobbler with a 10 2/8" beard and almost 1.5" spurs! No calling this guy in, I ended up stalking in on him and arrowed him at 30 yards. My best gobbler ever.......awesome time afield. Hope you enjoy.

Good job, I love those hooks. Just curious as to how you know he's 5 years old?
When you know the game in the area you hunt and seebthe same kritters year after year... That combined with the physical age descriptors can tell you the age. Just my .02 ;-)

I figured he had a history with the bird. I had an old gobbler I chased for 4 years and I just had rotten luck and couldn't close the deal. He must've finally died of old age or disease.
