Just got my Crispi,(Idaho) boots in the mail.Wore them around after work, when my feet were at their expanded range, one pair of medium weight socks.Like i had owned them for 3 years, really comfortable, as well as stable.New early boots for me.Larry

I kept going back and forth between those and the Meindl Denali. I went with the Meindl's and love them but the Idaho's looked like awesome boots.

I guess i'm lucky as well as old, because i have two pair of meindels hunters, early european from cabelas, and another pair from AJ Brooks. Both models insulated.I bought the Crispis for Antelope hunting in the west, late season turkey, since they do have real(not chinese) gortex, and the rest of the time when you really don't need more than two pairs of socks. You can't spend 4 grand on guns and stuff and then have your boots let you down.I've worn work boots/hunting boots for too many years to not know what a good pair feels like on my feet.I'm happy, good luck, Larry

Well after a whole season with the Crispi Idaho model,I am very satisfied.Light on the feet, rugged, waterproof.Antelope in the high desert of Idaho and Nevada, super!Late season mule deer Idaho, snow, cold,no problem. Not sure what to do with my Meidels just yet.Hope this info is useful to anyone interested.
