The Eastmans forum members came through big time for me when I asked for help on my Book Cliffs muzzleloader deer hunt. The information was spot on which resulted in me taking my best buck ever. Thanks for the help.IMG_0002.jpg

That is a good representative buck for the Book Cliffs glad you were able to use some of the information and get it done. Even the background in the picture looks familiar.

I was up there during the spike elk hunt just after the ML hunt and did see one real nice 190-200" buck just west of the towers, and he was well withing ML range when he walked by me. But most of the deer were off of the top by that time and we didn't see overall that many. We did drive from Colorado to Ten Mile Knoll on the divide road one day just checking things out and it was quite interesting.

Now I only have to wait one more year out before I can start putting back in for this area to hunt it again for deer.

Thank you all for the nice comments, at 69 yrs old this backpack hunt into the roadless area was a lot of packing but I loved every bit of it, this is my favorite way to hunt.Dont know how many more hunts like this I will be able to do but this was a great one, thanks again.
