Blacks Creek G11 vs. G7

Anybody have any personal experience between the two? They seem to be just about the same size other than the expandable meat storage area in the G11. Is this area worth the extra $? I'm upgrading my old day (1 nighter) pack and like the design of both of these. Thanks!

Both are very nice packs. The X11 is a bit larger pack when not expanded. The ability of the X11 to expand is nice for taking a first load of meat out. For strictly a day pack however I think the X7 is a great choice. Lots of great features and its a fairly lightweight pack as well.

Thanks OR. Does anybody know if the G11 has more torso adjustments than the G7? I'm 6' 4" and have only had the chance to try on the G7 which seemed to ride a bit high on my back even at the "large" setting. Also what's the general opinion out there... is the G11 too large of a pack for a day pack? Thanks!

They both use the same torso adjustment system. I don't feel the G11 is to large for a day pack. I used a Canadian for a few years and always liked the fact that I could take a load out if the situation presented itself. Plus you have the flexibility to do multiple days with the G11.
