Is there any area's that you can watch them either from a road or a short hike? My uncles would like to see some our next trip out. Or would Yellowstone be a better area to go to?

Grand Teton just south of or on the South end of the Elk refuge or in Hoback Canyon just south of Jackson. This is a good time of year to see them in those areas I think. Both places they are often right of the road, but the rams are more shy it seems like. Sybille Canyon between Laramie and Wheatland, WY used to have them, but I haven't been through there in a while. They are pretty cool. Glacier NP was where we saw a cool bachelor group a few after a short hike.

Like CrimsonArrow said, T Falls has a good accessible heard. Other good places are the Bitterroot Valley, Hwy 200 near Bonner, near Anaconda, The Gallatin Canyon at Big Sky, various stops in the Missouri River Breaks, the Sun River Game Range area, the National Bison Range near Charlo, and probably the most reliable sheep watching around ... Wildhorse Island on Flathead Lake (although this one will require a short boat ride).

MT is a great state for not only seeing sheep, but world class rams. Here is a pic I took near my home:

If you want to come way west, we see them often along I84 in Oregon between the JohnDay River and Arlington. Some very large California's in that herd.

this is a very easy herd to find they are almost always along the highway all year long.

Just east of Dubois along the Wind River and the highway. Bighorns come down to the irrigated fields. Also just outside of Cody, ask at any local sportshop. Have fun.

When I was a kid. We would go up to Jackson during the winter and there was always a bunch of bighorns in Hoback Canyon right next to the highway. We got a lot of good photos. The rams would pose on rock out cropping's and such.

Woops,

This IS the Wyoming section.

Gotta pay closer attention when using Tapatalk.

Sorry about the Montana info, LRP. At least Montana is pretty close to Wyoming!
