ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT BEARPAW OUTFITTERS OF COLVILLE WA. ?

WAS LOOKING AT THERE IDAHO HORSE-BACK DROP CAMP HUNT FOR MULE DEER. LOOKED INTERSTING TO US.

GETTING ANOTHER WEEKS VACATION IN 2015 [6WKS] AND THE WIFE AND I ARE TRYING TO COMPLETE OUR
BUCKET-LIST AND A TRIP TO IDAHO IS IN ORDER. :cool:

I don't know anything about his Idaho hunts but I can tell you that Dale Denney, owner of Bearpaw Outfitters, has a good reputation with the people here in Washington state.

I know you would certainly get what you pay for as he is an honest and trustworthy guy. He's been in business for many years and I've never heard of any complaints.

I dont know anything about them but being they are out of Colville I would assume it would be in the Idaho panhandle which has pretty low numbers of mule deer. I hunted it 4 hears ago and the best mule deer I found was a 14'' wide forked horn. I have hunted the WA/ID border from the WA side a couple times too and didnt see much there either. Also I think the mule deer season in the panhandle doesnt open untill 11/1 and snow could push them down onto private land by then. Aside from if they are good outfitters or not I think your money would be much better spent somewhere else.

I believe they hunt in southern Idaho. Heck, he offers hunts in Utah and Montana as well so I don't think he would choose to outfit hunts in poor hunting areas just because it's close to where he lives.

Could be, I was assuming he just outfitted around the Colville area.
