Any bear fans? my bow needs new strings and a few other things, I figured for the price of all that I could just pick up this bow and swap out my goods from my pse. when it comes to bows I cant justify dropping nearly a grand for something that performs as good as some of the cheaper versions. would be awesome to have one like that but I cant justify it. this bow seems to have awesome reviews, anyone out there have one? for 319 it seems like a steal. should I buy?

i bought it this morn. I couldn't find any bad reviews on it and the guy at cabelas tried way to hard trying to get me to buy a higher end cabelas brand bow that it turned off any open mindedness to the thought of it. I asked what he has heard of the bow and he chuckled and said "bear bows suck, I don't know why we even sell bear bows or pse bows in my experience they aren't quality bows. you have to make sure they are tuned right in order for them to even shoot good" I said... that's the same for any bow, he said no that's not true..., that's when I knew he didn't know jack in what he was talking about and just wanted to sell a thousand dollar bow. so I said if u can out shoot me from 20 with that thousand dollar bow against this bear bow ill buy the bow you chose. that's when another guy jumped in and said bear bows are just fine, lets set it up and get you on your way. just another reason why I prefer actual pro archery shops. ill be hunting from a blind a lot this year and the axle to axle on the attitude bow is perfect for that. when I get the chance ill shoot the crap out of it and leave a review. Ill get rid of the crap quiver and sight and stab and add mine from old bow.

I'm in the market for a new bow too, and recently started looking at Bear, Bowtech, Cabela's bowtech brand, and anything really in that $500 range....no way I'm going to spend $1k on a new bow. I think on average I loose an arrow every other year or so and in no way am I an expert. I want my bow to feel good to me, be lightweight (or at least not heavy) and shoot straight once setup. Everything else is secondary to me.

I shot a friends Bear Cruzer last year. It shot fine. A guy could get away with most bow "packages" by replacing the string and sights....quiver down the road, and be just fine.

Look forward to your review.

What if you got a $1k bow for $500. Buying a used bow is not a bad option at all. If you research them and take your time, you can find some good deals.
