Battling bears

Son just committed to play football for the battling bears. ( rocky mtn. college ) in billings. I have been hunting Idaho all my life but might need to look at hunting around billings since I will be in that area for the football season. Anyone have any info they want to share about that area for deer or elk. No honey holes just general information is all I am looking for not sure if I can even make it a reality but love to try if the timing all comes together. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Yeah, congrats. That's a really good school I think, too. Right in the middle of some hunting options I think. I can do very general, lol. Billings is only a couple hours north of the Big Horns and a couple hours east of Bozeman for all kinds of elk options I think. I always saw quite a few deer around that Columbus and Absorkee area, but wasn't in that area long enough to hunt or look into it.
