Bald eagle vs. Canadian goose

The eagle has been hanging out by the lake for a couple weeks and has been picking off the geese.

I guess they're too well fed on roadkill here in this part of Iowa to bother with all the geese in the corn fields.

We have quite a few Bald Eagles around here all year. They are always sitting in the cottonwood trees overlooking my pond trying to pick off a Canada Goose gosling in the spring. They get one now and then.
