Anyone familiar with Snake River Processing in Baggs? Experiences? Any other processor you would suggest? We will be hunting near there in region "W" after our Antelope hunt. If things go as planned we should have 3 Antelope to either keep in cold storage or process and freeze while we hunt deer. Thanks

I know you are looking for processor info but did you draw goats in the region w area or a different area and then hunting deer in reg w? Just curious.
Cheers

Hey Chief,
I can't remember the name of the place in Baggs that I took my antelope to, but I can't imagine there is too many there. It was the first and only time I'd ever used a processor and I was very impressed. I only used them because I tagged my antelope and had a deer tag that I wanted to try to fill and it was hot.(that was before I started taking a generator and a small chest freezer) If it's the same place it's real clean and has windows that you can watch them cutting all the meat up and processing it. They make the best spicy antelope breakfast sausage I've ever had. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I needed to and I'm pretty picky on how my game meat is trimmed! I'll try to look on my notes, if I can find them and try to make sure that's the name.

I am somewhat familiar withe the processor in Baggs. I antelope hunted that area in 2012 and stayed in Baggs. After getting my antelope, I took it to a processor in Rawlins. I later found out there was a processor in Baggs. I visited with the owner and his wife for quite a while. They also run a taxidermy shop in the same building. I was very impressed with them. They were very professional and friendly. They were processing a lot of antelope. Wished I had known about them earlier as I would have definitely used them.
