Anyone out there hunt unit 27 in the past? My son and I have elk tags for the late hunt, thinking about hunting the Blue Range and packin in with our mules. Just looking for any info about the area and how much pressure there is in the wilderness?

So I take it you've hunted there before. We'll be hunting Nov 25 hunt, will we have any trouble finding water to camp by? I know weather plays abig factor but will elk move from that area if there is snow?
