AZ Unit 27 Archery Elk

Hi folks,
AZ billed me for one elk tag a couple days ago, so it looks like Unit 27 Archery Elk is on for this year!

I've hunted elk a bunch, but have never been down that in AZ. I'm looking for any input other folks might have that have hunted the unit, experiences, hunter density, etc. I also see that it has been 2 years since the Wallow fire, and wondering how that is / was affecting things.

Scouted a week during archery and hunted the mzldr about 3 yrs ago. Great hunt. Difficult terrain. Weather really affected the archers I spoke to during my scouting trip with lots of afternoon showers. Elk everywhere. Work hard and make the most of this tag.
