Attaching my spotting scope to Gen 2 Trigger sticks?

I just bought the Gen 2 Jim Shockey full height trigger stick and the description says it is good for mounting a spotting scope. Ok...Great! That was one of the reasons I purchased this product. I could bring only one platform for shooting and spotting. So anyway...I removed the V shaped rifle rest from the top and the size of the threaded bolt is much larger than my Leupold spotting scope fitting. I don't see any accessories on line that go with the trigger sticks and I was wondering if anyone else owned these sticks and attached a spotting scope to them.

Is there something I am missing?

I have a Bog Pod, and use the Burris Window Mount. The jaws open wide enough that you can clamp the mount to the rifle rest when the jaws are parallel to the mount. Quick and easy to attach and detach.

Ok, I had a friend find this for me. In case anyone ever runs into this issue. On Amazon you can purchase a Smallrig 3/8"-16 Female to 1/4"-20 Male Tripod Thread Reducer. They are located under the photography tripod accessories. Looks like this will work just fine. Not sure why Primos does not offer this with their product.

1/4x20 isn't a standard. I think primos decided to let the customer figure it out. I know swaro is not 1/4x20. I'm not sure what zeiss is either. We can't have an "industry" standard ( way to simple and efficient) That would be too easy :) same frustration goes for tripod quick attach fittings. I wish they all fit!

We'll I got the reducer and I failed to realize before ordering that it does not work as well as I thought it might. After attaching my spotting scope to the trigger stick, I found out I can not tilt up and down. Duh! So I can spin 360 degrees but no tilting up and down.
Feel kind dumb but I posted an inaccurate fix prior so ......yeah. I'll try it in the field by using the trigger to change elevation but I don't think it will work well either way.

I just got mono pod for Christmas and was wondering the same thing. However after some fiddling around I found that the big thread is spring loaded and it just slides down to reveal the smaller thread inside. Hope this helps. I can post a picture if it is unclear.

Well, I had to take apart the top of the trigger stick head to figure it out... I thought it was another one of those ridiculous engineering blunders... ie buy more parts, but NO! The large sized insert is spring-loaded! All you do is screw the 1/4-20 spotting scope onto the threads while gently pushing down on the scope! Works like a champ!

Good luck hunting!
