Arizona Elk units 1 or 27

Does anyone have suggestions on guides or outfitters for these two units? My son and I have a good chance to draw a tag in one of these units for 2018. We have hunted in unit 6A in the past and are looking at that as a second choice. As always Thanks for any help you have to offer.

I would use 1 as a 1st and 27 as a 2nd. If you have the points for those, I'd never put 6A on my app, it can be drawn with half the points of 1/27 archery.

We will be applying for unit 1 first choice and unit 27 second choice. It will be for late season rifle since we have the best chance to draw those tags. We have not been doing archery hunts for a few years now and won't be getting back into that. Thanks Bob for your thoughts.

I'd recommend Duwane Adams or Steve Chappell. These are both good reliable outfits!

Lots of good ones... I would call either A3 or Steve Chappell first... but Adams hunts those units a lot and would be another good choice.
