My dad has been waiting for a 26 tag but put 24 as his first choice this year and ought to draw with his PP. He's is fairly poor shape and doesn't care the least about trophy quality. The plan is to find one close to the road, let my brother and I can haul everything. From experience I know this is possible in 26. 24 is a lot rougher. Is this scenario plausible in 24?

In the beginning of october the moose should still be in rut so if you were to do some cow calls from a road if there are any in the area there is a good chance you would get a response from a bull. I don't know the area but looking at a map it looks like there are a few roads. From what little experience the hardest part is drawing the tag and then packing the moose out, but that was in the Big Horns and the success rate there may be higher than 24.
