I'm pretty new to the site and have enjoyed reading a lot of the threads and learning a lot.
I'm looking into heading out this fall for a DIY archery deer hunt in Colorado and have zero points. I've done some research on Units 31 and 35 and the public land that's available. I'm not expecting a trophy, but would just like to see some deer, enjoy the experience of hunting some new country and gain experience for future hunts.
Anyone have much experience in those units?
Not looking for anybody's honey holes, just would like to learn some more about the areas and hear some general opinions on the mule deer and landscape in those areas. Any pros or cons of either unit for a bow hunt? Thanks.
