The more I looked at it it is more pink than red. That picture sure made it stick out like a gratis tag, anyway good job and nice buck!!

First timer here on Eastmans forum. I am trying to bring this thread back because I have currently moved to North Dakota from Arizona for grad school and looking to hunt muleys with OTC archery tag. Multiple people here in Bismarck said I should head out to the badlands(Medora area) but its so vast I don't quite know where to start. Im used to glassing/spot and stock back in AZ but just wondering if there is an area where I could get into a decent amount of deer(size is a bonus but not crucial to me). Im planning on camping up there and hiking in solo. If anyone is kind enough to help point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Areas, roads, campgrounds, areas to steer clear of? anything helps because I'm going in blind. Thank you!
Does anyone know where to find the drawing odds for mule deer in ND? I looked all over the NDGFD website and couldn't find anything. I am from MT and have friends in ND that want me to start applying but I want to see how hard it is for non residents to draw a tag first.
