Antelope Island - Mule Deer Viewing Recommendations

Will likely be traveling to SLC the week of January 16th.

Would like to spend some time glassing on the island looking for wildlife.

Can anybody give good recommendations for general areas to start searching this time of the year?
I am from Iowa and have zero knowledge of the island.

I assume the deer are starting to drop antlers as well.
Can I still expect to find some bucks roaming around with headgear still intact?

yes they will have their antlers still.
seek and you shall find.

The island isn't hard to figure out. If you have some good glass and a tripod bring it along with you.

Most of the viewable deer are on the East side along the road towards the ranch house and around the ranch house.
