Not so much cooking as it will be eating! Ha this is the wife's clean eating recipe for chili. Calls for Turkey but I used her antelope from this year.

That looks really good. I should put celery in ours, that looks pretty tasty. That is one of my favorite ways for antelope meat. It is not my favorite, so chili and soups are some of my favorite uses. My wife used to freeze chili and soup in bags and pack it for me when I traveled for work. Its really good stuff. The only problem is the taco soup kindof looked like poop in a bag, but it sure tastes good.

Oh man looks good. Antelope is some of the best eating game out there next to cow elk. As long as it's properly cared for in the field you
can't beat it. I just wish they were bigger so there was more meat.

I agree, I cooked up some elk and antelope at my father in laws hunting camp a few years ago. Asked everyone which they liked the best. They all chose the antelope. They couldn't believe it. It's all about proper field care.

We ended up having a similar antelope chili tonight. That picture looked really good, so we tried it out. Pretty good. Antelope is fine, I am just kindof a picky eater with weird tastes so I like to bury it a little. I don't even like bacon, so I understand people have a little bit different opinions on the taste.

It's funny strange because I like cooking up antelope back strap on the grill and love it, but I'm not crazy about steak meat, but then again I love antelope hamburger.I know strange dude.

Hey against the wind I see you are in Gillette that's is where I used to go to antelope hunt, but my rancher friend Tony sold off all his ranch to the coal companies so now I don't go any more,im actually going to contact g&f and see if they can point me in the right direction for 2016.

Yeah, that kindof sucks that you lost your place. The mines just keep moving along. There are still some people who will let you hunt on their places right next to the mines and stuff like that. Tbe antelope there are used to big booms from the blasting, lol. Hopefully the warden can help out. This was a good year I think for the critters, so maybe in a couple of years the numbers will be rebounding.

IKIC, looks just like mine. I always put celery in mine, and a can of RO-TEL hot tomatoes&chilies. I just finished cooking up 2 gallons of it for Elk camp.

Antelope is the best eating as long as you don't shoot an animal on the run and take care of the meat properly while in the field. That means on ice as soon as possible. It's too bad they aren't a lot bigger.
