Been eyeing this unit for a few years. Got lucky and drew the rifle tag this year. I have some insight on where to begin my scouting, but thought I would post here if anyone has information they would be willing to share. Basically where the water may be this year, best places to camp from, etc. Any information would be great. Thanks!

I got a Mid-70" goat there a few years ago. I've also hunted horns-shorter there a few times.
We usually camp below the Wilson Creek Reservoir dam and hunt to the south.
As of this morning, the Hot Pot fire is estimated around 120,000 acres.
