Two of us from North Carolina are looking at unit 16 for 2nd choice. Since we are traveling such a distance we don’t mind paying a trespass fee. I called the regional offices for landowner contacts only to learn they no longer give out that information. If anyone has any contacts of land owners in unit 16 that charge a reasonable trespass fee, please let me know. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the help! Will be hunting a buck and plan to buy a couple of doe tags. I did call the Chamber of Commerce and was told they do not give out landowner information anymore.

If you are not worried about size you could still find a buck on public land. We saw a few, but there was no size to them. But we did find plenty of does. I can't help you with the private land, but the links given you should help.

Good luck.

It is fun out there. Just get off the road. You will find plenty of people driving the roads and claiming they see no antelope. But, I found lots and sometimes just 100 or 200 yds of the road just over a hill.
