Looks like I've been registered here awhile but just starting to pay attention again. I'm from a small town in the Sacramento valley and have been hunting elk and deer since age 12, in both OR and CO. This year I started branching out with my applications and will be hunting Idaho as well, still waiting to see if I get drawn or if it will be an otc. Due to my career in ag, most all of my hunting is after Nov, but am enjoying the extra challenges that can bring.

I'm from Oakdale, I've been thru your part of the country waterfowl hunting a lot, especially Colusa, Princeton, and Butte City!
Funny you say that, I now live outside colusa and my duck club is just east of Butte City and we hit the bbq joint in Princeton a couple times a season.

Welcome..... from a former Calif resident and native (5th generation). My Dad owned a duck club in Imperial Valley for 50 years. Shot lots of ducks & geese there. Do a lot of waterfowling here in Colorado now.

How about the grocery store and those burritos ! I haven't been up there in a couple of years. I had a goose blind on the road into Howard slough to the west past the north end of the refuge! Good times when the birds flew! Sun burn otherwise! Lol

My blind was the check east and south of Bobs! Interesting and a small world . How'd you do this last season?
