Tomorrow I leave for my NV muzzleloader hunt. Opening day is Thursday and with the weather forecasted for the next few days (rain and 30 degree nights, or colder) the bulls should be in peak rutting activity. It will definitely make for a fun, exciting hunt. I will be sure to update everyone on my failures and hopefully my HUGE success!!

Tomorrow I will be finishing up setting up camp and then spending the afternoon and evening on the mountain locating one of the few bulls I have picked out.

They tend to kick in a bit late there. You can even catch them bugling, late cycle, end of October.
