Anchorage Moose

Here are a few more moose. The bull was being eaten alive by mosquitoes just above his hocks, especially evident in the last photo. It's an ugly time of year for moose. Today near Anchorage.

Here's a couple more Anchorage moose. These were in the yard after coming home from 14 days hunting moose down the Yukon and Koyokuk. The little bull had a wind chime stuck in his antler.

Cool photo's 247...that group sure doesn't seem too worried that you are there. It's funny to see what bulls get tangled up in their antlers. Except when it hurts them, like that big bull that got hanged in a telephone line.
