The last time that I saw 22Lr go on sale before Cabela's became Bass Pro Jr I picked up 5,000 rounds so I'm good for the duration with them. This past summer Natchez had a price that I couldn't beat on .40 S&W so I picked up 1000 rounds of CCI reloadable brass case rounds, so I'm good to go with them.
Before that the only factory rounds that I shot were the 22Lr, and I try and pick up the bullets that I need for the next couple of years when I find them.
But with me switching over to black powder hunting for the most part I don't really need to worry about the smokeless powders, primers and bullets. However I'll pick up a couple hundred Barnes .25 bullets for my 25-06 that I'll use on any pronghorn hunt that I draw in the future. I already have over 500 old 30-06 brass that will be converted over to the .25. That and I have plenty of primers still so I think that I am set for a while.
