I'm beginning to see a little better supply of gun powder and even a few .22lr cartridges on the shelves, How is it where you are. I still can't find some of the powders I use the most; H4831sc but I'm getting by pretty well.

I see the supply starting to slowly increase here as well. The entire thing is ridiculous, but that's another thread. :)

Everything (except certain .22 target ammo) seems to have gotten much better. There are certain powders that are still scarce tho. I just bought 5M small pistol primers @ $30.00/m which I thought was a good price.

Luckily last summer my supplier had a bunch of H4831sc and I bought #5 of it. I gave 2#s to my son. The 3 I have left will last me awhile and my 25-06 is a happy camper now.

There is some powder, some primers and some bullets coming in. Unfortunately, nothing I need. .22 & .17 are hit or miss, mostly miss. I haven't bought any .22LR in months. This is quite a DRY spell huh? Two years ago folks said it'd last 6 months! Wow!

Just got some IMR 4064 the other day and a week or two before that a box of 58 grain Hornady VMax to reload for my .243 along with 3 boxes of 35 grain VMax for my 22 Hornet that I don't reload for. I have about a brick of 22s and haven't even looked to buy any of them in a long time, as I don't go through many of them in a year. Prices continue to go up on everything, but there's not much of anything that isn't except for gas right now. They'll probably have to have some fires at refineries or some other reason in the near future to jack it back up a buck a gallon though. Our 87 octane is down to $2.49 here today. Too bad it wasn't down like that on my Wyoming trip when I sent $1400 on gas alone!

I hear ya Topgun. All powder is hard to come by here, but watch and wait=rewards. Hopefully the winds of change will blow in the new year.

Cheers,

I've been seeing decent supply of IMR and Alliant powders, but Hodgdon has been scarce.
Hodgdon pistol and shotgun powders will probably be in short supply for a while longer. This year has been the year to experiment with different recipes. We are seeing and selling lots of Accurate, most likely because it is what's available. I don't have much experience with Accurate so I have been sticking to my little stockpile to keep feeding the boomsticks. IMR and Alliant are also making a slow return to the shelves. Just going to be some time till its there each time you look for it.

Still tough here. I'm still on the look out for varget(that might take awhile) and also some 140 accubonds in .284. Found some brass but could only get my hands on nosler brass.

Powder and bullets are back for the most part, 22LR is on the shelves but still $.10/round. I will wait until it comes back down. This was at our local gun shop, Wally world still sells 22lr for $.05 - $.06/round when I can find it.

Everything seems to be making a slow come back. I even found some Win 17 Rimfire magnum 20gr. a few weeks ago at Jay's in Clare, MI. I had been searching for over 8 months without any success until then. I can finally test out a barrel I had made for my TC Contender. Happy Days!!!

What in the world are you doing down in our LP ya yooper, LOL!
