I was looking at units 63/64 I know there's some wilderness that I cant hunt, but how is the elk numbers off the wilderness area? going to bowhunt! Also was looking at unit 50 which is now unit 54 and not for sure how many tags north of clarks river they will give out! I may decide to try and draw a limited tag on my first choice and my second choice try and draw a general tag! just looking for a good places to hunt and give me a good chance on a nice bull!

You didn't say how many PPs you have, but if it isn't 7 or 8 there is almost no chance at drawing 63 or 64, other in the random and then you lose your PPs even if you didn't want that tag. Who knows what it will take for a tag in either section of 54 since there is no history on it. All those areas will have some decent bulls in them IF you can find them and seal the deal.

What will be your size of bull be that would match your expectations with 7 points?

There are bulls of that caliber in most LE units, but findng them on a DIY hunt if you haven't even spent any time in the unit you're hunting makes it tough. If you have 7PPs and want to bow hunt, I'd be looking at the A/O hunts in September up in the BigHorn Mountain units. You can draw those and have the whole month of September to hunt.
