Adjustable combs

Anyone use an adjustable comb? Advantages? Disadvantages? if anyone uses,does it help with recoil control?

Larue on my AR, Karstens on my bolt gun. Do it to have a repeatable cheek weld, not for recoil management. My hunting for rifle doesn't need one.

Yes they are nice if you are struggling to see through your scope, downside is in a hunting situation they get caught very easily! Wouldn't think it would help with recoil management. I'd recommend if you need some extra height look into the soft pads you can attach with Velcro. Triad tactical makes some nice heavy duty pads and won't get caught on your pack.
