We are closing in on yet another hunting season with some people already doing late summer early fall hunts.
First, I would like to wish each and every single one of you the best if luck!
Second, I would like to remind you all to be careful, and mindful of other drivers on lease roads, and other dirt roads. There are a lot of people who work out there on the same roads you're hunting on please pay attention, and try not to run the into the bar ditch when you're driving, and looking for tracks.
Thirdly, hunters be respectful of the rules on any private land you're allowed to hunt on.
Finally to the leaseholders, and land owners. I understand the temptation to land lock public land because you wish to hunt it, or because an outfitter or guide will pay more. But for a lot of hunters public land is the only way they can hunt, and they can't afford the extortionate amounts that are charged for private land hunting so please give them a break, and enjoy your acres of wilderness.
I wish you all the best.
